野貓騷擾妻女 村民大開殺戒

(星島日報 報道)愛貓又殺貓、仁慈與殘忍只在一念之間，藍地一名逾六十歲村民，曾協助愛貓組織捉貓，讓流浪貓接受絕育手術。不過，他為「保護」妻女，自認曾殺死兩隻貓，被指是屯門「貓殺手」。該村民對於貓來說，有功亦有過，成為愛貓人士舉報與否的爭論點。
被指為新一代貓殺手的村民姓王，與妻及十餘歲智障女兒，同住藍地一村屋。據悉，藍地村民近年搬遷後棄下貓隻，漸成流浪貓，王的住所周圍便有三十多隻野貓出沒。
「香港貓咪俱樂部」一名「貓義工」女士稱，早前接王伯投訴，遂到現場捉貓絕育，王伯見有效，便主動協助捉野貓，交給該俱樂部進行絕育。由於王妻女怕貓，又有兩隻頑皮貓時常到其廚房覓食搗亂，王向愛貓組織聲稱，本月初設陷阱殺死該兩隻貓。
愛貓組織大為震驚，有人認為太殘忍，要挺身舉報殺貓惡行；但亦有人認為，王伯有功亦有過，他的為人沒有機心，殺貓只想保護妻女，保護自己的食物和家園，並非滿足變態慾望，應「放他一馬」。
但是，殺貓始終令愛貓人士不安，恐仍生存的三十多隻流浪貓遲早被宰殺，認為不可姑息，經過半個月來爭論，終決定向警方舉報。本報記者
不是虐畜??星期五 (03-JUL-2009)行經衙前圍道，某百貨公司舊址擺放大量貓狗, 雖然佢地係街狗,但是現在天氣甘熱,係間已棄置鋪位裡面, 又沒空氣, 又臭 , 又焗, 又沒有水&食物, 仲話係剛被絕育的狗?? 將剛被絕育的狗安置在甘恐怖的地方?? 簡直係人間地獄!! 不是虐畜?? 係乜呀? 工人打開大閘 D狗 一隻都無吠, 好可憐, 可無助!! 看到工人不停拍打其中一個籠, 大聲叫 ” wei wei ” 只見籠內隻狗已經沒有反應………究竟為乜呢?? 為錢? ?? 為捐款 ?? 如果為左減少流浪貓狗数目 ….. Well done!! 因為你地沒幫 D狗做絕育已經死左 la!!

Dear volunteers of HKCR,
I would like to thank all of you for arranging dogs in my shelter to be de-sexed and to be applied medical treament by Dr. Joe in his clinic in Yuen Long.
I very well know it is uncommon to have surgery arranged in this area hence extend my everlasting gratitude for your coordination in all these cases.
Please also extend my thank to Dr.Joe for his unselfish helping hands towards the stray dogs in Hong Kong. It is not difficult for one to picture what could possibly happen towards stray animals in Hong Kong without someone like Dr. Joe. His act will forever be remembered and cherished by all.
With the implementation of The Animal Birth Control Program, we hope such act could lift social responsibility for all towards stray animals and set up a role model for others to follow suit.
